Tritons for Sally Ride Science
We are a group of undergraduates from UC San Diego hoping to excite young students about a career in science and broaden participation in STEM education. @tritonsforSRS
Kristine is a fourth-year undergraduate majoring in Bioengineering at UCSD. As current acting president of Tritons for Sally Ride Science, she hopes to motivate and inspire undergraduates to promote science literacy and make an impact on San Diego youth.
Kalyani Kottilil is a second-year Biology: Bioinformatics major at Warren College. She plans to work in bioinformatics and data science and possibly a medical school in the future. As treasurer, she hopes to instill interest in the organization as it grows in size and interest.
Vice President External, Tritons for Sally Ride Science
Kathryn is a third-year undergraduate majoring in Bioengineering at UCSD. As current acting VP External of Tritons for Sally Ride Science, she hopes to make a difference in the San Diego community through promoting undergraduate students to promote STEAM education and thereby spark San Diego’s youths' passion for the sciences.
Anita is a fourth-year undergraduate majoring in Public Health at UCSD. As the VP Internal of Tritons for SRS, she hopes to get students of all ages excited about science and explore and think critically about the world around them.
Surabhi is a third-year undergraduate at UCSD majoring in Bioengineering, and she is the current public relations officer of Tritons for Sally Ride Science. Through her involvement, she hopes to reach underserved parts of the San Diego community to inspire an interest in science, engineering, and higher education in youth.
