Official Welcome…

We would like to officially welcome all of you to the 2008 TOYchallenge competition. Each year, we are introduced to new teams and coaches, and each year everyone exceeds our expectations with their toy/game. We look forward to seeing all of your new inventions in the upcoming months. 

Preliminary Round Entry
Don’t forget, your PRE is due in our office by February 14, 2008.  

Before your team mails their Preliminary Round Entry (PRE), make sure to thoroughly review it for compliance with the specifications below:

  • Sections 1-4 should be typed in 12-point size using either Arial or Times New Roman font, double-spaced with 1" margins and printed on 8 1/2" x 11" white, unlined paper (handwritten copies will be disqualified)
  • The first four sections together should be no more than 3 1/2 pages (single-sided)
  • Section 5 should be no more than two pages
  • Section 6 should be no more than one page, with attached receipts, signed off by the coach
  • All pages must be numbered with your Team Entry ID Number on each page, with each section labeled and has all information included
  • Please staple your PRE. NO paperclips or binder clips. A cover page is allowed, however please DO NOT put your entry in a binder or any other cover/case/folder  

When your team mails their PRE, it should include:

  • Five copies of their entire entry (sections 1-6)
  • The following documents:
    • One signed copy of the Preliminary Entry Form
    • Signed Coach's Affirmation
    • Signed original Parent Waiver (one form for each team member)

Please, no media mail. Make sure your entry is scheduled to be delivered to our office by February 14th 2008 to be qualified for round 1 judging.
