It's Never Too Early to Start Fundraising!

Sally Ride Science expects all teams to fundraise to help them get to the Nationals.

As the Nationals near, we will be offering Travel Funds Assistance to help select teams with their fundraising efforts. We will notify you when to send in your Travel Funds Assistance application via TOYtimes and the TOYchallenge website. We can only provide assistance to the neediest cases, and cannot always provide assistance to all who apply.

Fundraising examples:

• Selling baked goods, candy bars, etc.
• Car washes
• Contact a local restaurant and ask for a certain amount of the profits be donated to the team for a day, hour, etc.
• Contact local governments to help with raising money
• Coupon book sales in your neighborhood
• Design team t-shirts and sell them to students in your school
• Auctions or yard sales to raise money
• Raffle or drawing for door prizes
