- An inspiring talk by astronaut Janice Voss
- Discovery Workshops for students, given by local scientists and engineers
(examples include chemists, veterinarians, microbiologists, and others) - Workshops for parents and teachers on ways to support students' interests in science and math
- A Street Fair with booths, hands-on activities, food, and music
Advance registration is required and is $0. The registration fee includes the featured talk, workshops, lunch, and the Street Fair.

Directions & Maps
The Santa Clara University campus is just one minute from the San Jose International Airport and about 30 minutes south of the San Francisco International Airport.
After entering through the Main Entrance of the University, go past the guard house and turn left into the parking structure (#714 on the campus map). Follow the signs to the Malley Fitness Center (#715) for Registration, Street Fair, and Lunch; the speaker will be in the Leavey Center (#702).

If you are coming from U.S. Highway 101:
- Take the De La Cruz Boulevard/Santa Clara exit.
- Follow De La Cruz Boulevard towards El Camino Real (stay in the right lane).
- When De La Cruz Boulevard splits, follow the right split over the overpass.
- Turn right on Lafayette Street staying in the right turn lane.
- Turn right at El Camino Real.
- The main entrance to Santa Clara University will be on the right-hand side of the road.
If you are coming from Interstate 880:
- Take The Alameda exit.
- Travel north on The Alameda.
- The Alameda will become El Camino Real.
- The main entrance to Santa Clara University will be on the left-hand side of the road.
If you are coming from Interstate 280:
- Take Interstate 880 north toward Oakland.
- Exit at The Alameda.
- Turn left on The Alameda.
- The Alameda will become El Camino Real.
- The main entrance to Santa Clara University will be on the left-hand side of the road

Workshops for Adults
A separate track for adults is also available. Parents, teachers, and other interested adults may also register to hear Sally Ride, participate in the Street Fair, and attend their own workshops. Adults choose one workshop to attend. Adults pick three choices from the list below and we will try our best to accommodate their preferences.
Educators who attend the festival will receive a certificate stating they have earned 4 hours of professional development.
